Georgine Price Easton

Georgine Marie Easton, age 92 of Fenton, Michigan passed away on June 1, 2021. She was born on May 13, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents, Herman and Grace (née Stanley) Felthaus. She is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Jack Easton; loving mother of Pat (Jim) Okerstrom, the late Margine Price and the late Vivian Price; proud grandmother of Lisa (Joe) Lavigne, Amber Hurley, Amanda Okerstrom, Justin Okerstrom and Brandon Price; great-grandmother of Callie, Anthony, Eric, Jordan, Luke and Lauren. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother, Herman “Stan” (Maggie) Felthaus.

Georgine loved to travel and had many exciting travel experiences. She enjoyed seeing and learning about different lifestyles and the fascinating facts and local history at each destination. She could meet new people, try new restaurants and enjoy learning from great travel experiences with plenty of stories to tell when returning home.

When it was time to have fun, Georgine loved square dancing. It was fun, and a perfect way for her to connect with friends. She knew that in life, you have to work hand-in-hand to create harmony and the same applies in coming together while square dancing - taking the hand of your partner and working those steps on the dance floor to create something fun to watch and at the same time, providing a beautiful form of art.

It was great fun on a blue-sky day to attach those skis, get on the ski lift suspended above the ground and head to the top of the hill or the top of the mountain just to slide down the slopes as fast as she could and do it all over again. She loved the cool crisp air and the entire thrill of the experience.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M.

For those who cannot attend and wish to view the Funeral Service in a safe environment, the funeral service will be live streamed.


Georgine will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan.
