George James Koprowicz

George passed away at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti on December 20, 2010 at the age of 76. He was born in Detroit on July 13, 1934 the son of Zygmundt and Wanda Koprowicz. He had worked for Cadillac Motor Car Division retiring in 1997 as the Final Engine Inspector at the Livonia plant. A member of the UAW, George also enjoyed fishing, gardening and anything to do with physical fitness. He married his beloved Barbara in January of 1956, she passed away in 2006. The couple have resided in the Canton area for over 30 years. Surviving George our his three children, George, Mark (Dorothy) and Michele. Grandchildren Sara (Tony) Colella and Kathleen Koprowicz. Three great grandchildren and two siblings John and Marguerite also survive. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday from 1pm until 9pm and Thursday from 10am until time of scripture service at 1:30pm with Father David Howell officating. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton.
