George Edward Schmidt, age 98 of Plymouth, passed away on November 29, 2018. Loving husband of the late Marion. Beloved father of Laura (Joseph) Anderson, Kevin (Jane) Schmidt and late Gordon Schmidt. Dear step-father of James (Kathi) Van De Wiele and Nancy Louise (Gerry) Vendittelli. Proud grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 12.
Mr. Schmidt proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. George enjoyed golfing, traveling, Ice Skating, Softball and Roller Hockey. Above all else George loved spending time with his family.
Funeral service Monday, December 3rd at 10:00am at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. Visitation Sunday, December 2nd from 2:00pm-7:00pm. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
