George B. Kazmierczak, age 90 of Plymouth, passed away on February 28, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 24, 1925 to his parents, Benjamin and Marcella (nee Dombrowski) Kazmierczak. George is the beloved husband of Josephine (nee Giletti) Kazmierczak. He is also survived by his loving children Gregory (Loa) Kazmierczak, Georgette (Dennis) Czajkewski, Gary (Lynn) Kazmierczak, Jody (Steve) Jochmans, Keith (Cyndi) Kazmierczak, Kim (Gary) Minito, Mark (Vicki) Kazmierczak and, proud Grandfather of 15 and Great-Grandfather of 12. He was preceded in death by their infant son Matthew, grandson, Joshua Kazmierczak and daughter-in-law, Carol Kazmierczak.
George proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 40th Infantry Division and during World War II in the 108th Infantry Division.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday, March 2nd, 2pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3rd at 11am to be officiated by The Reverend Father Thomas Belczak. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 12:30pm.
