George Anthony Hieronymus

George Anthony Hieronymus, age 81 passed away in Naples, Florida on January 13, 2017. He was born on August 25, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents Joseph and Helen (nee Marhofer) Hieronymus.

George attended parochial schools in Detroit. After graduation, he entered into the military service and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in August 1964. He then became the owner of Williams Diversified a metal finishing company for 56 years.

George is the beloved husband of Linda; loving father of Lori, Ted (Debbie), Mark. Proud grandfather of Amy (Brad), Steven (Casey), Sarah, Justin, William, Max, Megan, Luke. Proud great-grandfather of Ariyanna, Maylee, Tate, Connor, Hudson, Blake, and Zoey; dearest brother of Muriel Harrington, the late Joe Hieronymus, and the late Virginia Copeland.

Friends may visit on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 11am to 3pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Following visitation will be a service at the Funeral Home beginning at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting contributions be made in memory of George A. Hieronymus to the American Heart Association.
