Gary L. Hawker

Gary Lee Hawker, of Commerce, passed away June 13, 2016, at the age of 70. Gary was born June 1, 1946, in Highland Park to Harry and Mary (nee O'Neil) Hawker. On September 5, 1999, he married his beloved wife Shelley (nee Hammond). He is survived by his wife Shelley, his son Brett Hawker, his 2 step-daughters Jeana (Michael) Murray, and Shannon Fern, his 2 grandchildren Lauren and Ashton, his 4 bonus-grandchildren Cody, Jada, Leila, and Elan, and his brother Craig (Joan) Hawker. Gary was preceded in death by both of his parents.

A Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, June 18, from 1-5pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association. envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
