Frank Michael Norton

Francis (Frank) Michael Norton, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024. 

 Frank graduated from St. Mary’s of Redford High School in Detroit. He spent many successful years in sales at automotive dealerships and in real estate. He enjoyed being active outdoors; an avid snow-skier in the winter and an accomplished bike rider in warm weather. He enjoyed watching televised sports, particularly Detroit Lions football, and he most enjoyed the frequent gatherings of his large, Irish-Catholic family throughout his life. He was preceded in death by the love his life, his wife Betty, his brothers Bill and Tom, and sisters Katherine (Hill) and Patty (Kevelighan). Frank is survived by his brother Pat and sisters, Sharon (Head), Mary Ellen (Wilmot), and Jeannie (Vaughn), his children Sherry Pearsall, Donna Beavers, Tim (Kathy) Norton, David (Joni) Norton, and Maryann Beckert. Frank was blessed with 10 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his youthful spirit, his uncanny gift of name recall, and his satirical sense of humor which he regularly shared with his friends and family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7 @ 10am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church 14951 N. Haggerty Rd. Plymouth. Visitation at the church begins at 9:30am.
