Frances Mary Renda passed away March 6, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born February 15, 1926 to Costantino and Arthura (Mollica) Natoli in Kent, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Renda after 45 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Gerald) VanDusen and Vincent (Jean) Renda, her grandchildren Kristen (Evan) Stancil, Lauren Gohl, Vincent (Keli) Renda, Erin (Mark) Spencer, Michael Renda and Steven VanDusen, and her great grandchildren, Jayden Gohl, Amelia Renda, Penelope Renda and Lucas Renda.
Frances moved to Dearborn, Michigan in 1939 from Kent, Ohio. She was a graduate of Fordson High School in Dearborn. She retired from Ford Motor Company where she worked in the “Glass House” cafeteria. Frances was also a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II. She loved animals as she would always ask family members how their dog or cat was. She also remembered all of the pets by name. Most of all she loved her family. Frances is deeply loved by many and will be missed.
Family and friends may visit Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 2pm until 4pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. She will be buried next to her husband at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
