Frances M. Dunn passed away October 16, 2016, at the age of 87. Frances was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1929 to Larmon and Emma (nee Burris) Myers. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence “Ed” Dunn. Frances is survived by her loving children Deborah (Patrick) Dunn-Carty, and James Dunn, her dear grandchildren Kathleen, Elizabeth Clarke (Brett), and Allison Fisher (Robert), her precious great grandchildren Keeley, Peyton, Leah, and Dylan, her dear niece Kathy (Darris) Hammond, nephew Michael Hunter, and her dear grandnephews Jason (Olivia) and Ryan. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her dear sister Mary Hunter and step-brother Sam Myers.
During her working years, Frances was a dedicated and loyal employee who worked for General Motors for over 31 years, most of those years at the Fisher Body Plant in Livonia Michigan and later at General Motors Tech Center in the accounting and finance department.
Frances loved to cook for her family and enjoyed shopping, bowling, garage sales and crafting. She also loved traveling back to Tennessee to visit with family and friends.
Upon her retirement, she and Ed moved back to Cookeville where she volunteered at Washington Avenue Baptist church, which she always loved. Following Ed’s death, Frances returned to Michigan to be nearer to her children and grandchildren.
