Frances "Fran" Loiselle passed away December 19, 2015 at the age of 70. She was born May 31, 1945 in Detroit. Fran is deeply loved by her husband of 47 years, Ron, her children, Lance (Anna) Loiselle, Jason (Stephanie) Loiselle and Zachary (Susann) Loiselle and her grandchildren, Evan, Miles and Josiah. Fran retired 8 years ago from Wayne-Westland Schools where she was an elementary music teacher. She previously taught in the Warren Consolidated Schools and in the Fort Knox, Kentucky Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Wayne State University and was currently half way to earning her Master's Degree. She dearly loved kids, and teaching her love of music to them. Fran was a devoted member of Plymouth First United Methodist Church. She started the Hand Bell Choir at the Church with the help of Mary Childs. Fran directed the Children's Choir and 4 Hand Bell Choirs, all at the church, where she also sang in the Adult Choir. She played in the Detroit Area Hand Bells and sang with the Oratorio Society in Plymouth. Fran and Ron traveled a lot after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. One of their many travels was to Antarctica where Fran was able to walk the beach with the Penguins that she so loved. Fran lived a life devoted to music and to her family. She is loved by many and will be dearly missed.A Memorial Service will take place at Plymouth First United Methodist Church, 45201 N. Territorial Rd., Plymouth, Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 3pm. Friends may visit at the church beginning one hour prior to service . Fran will be laid to rest in the Memorial Garden at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fran Loiselle Music Scholarship Fund.
