Fern Edgar

Fern Edgar, age 77 of Plymouth passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 13, 2024.

She was born in Southgate, Michigan to her parents, the late Verna (née Onstott) and Marion Lucas. Fern was the loving and devoted wife of 52 years to the late Terrell W. Edgar who passed away on September 29, 2021; loving mother of Chad (Angela) Edgar and Joshua (Taylor) Edgar.

Fern’s most cherished titles were that of wife and mother. Her love for Terrell, her devoted husband, was the cornerstone of her life. Together, they built a beautiful family, filled with love, joy, and a bond that could never be broken. Fern adored her children, and she poured her heart into raising them.

Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and love—a place where everyone was welcome. She had a gift for bringing people together, for making holidays, birthdays, and even ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

Her kindness, generosity, and spirit will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

Though Fern has left us far too soon, her legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication - we will miss her deeply, we will carry her memory with us always.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
