Ethel May Duke

Ethel May Duke was born in Coffee County, Tennessee on October 7, 1920 the daughter of J. W. and Lena (Croslin) Davis. She married her husband of 43 years, Newell Duke and together they opperated a barber shop in Redford for a number of years. Later the couple moved to the Plymouth area where she has resided. Mr. Duke passed away in 1983. Mrs Duke is survived by her son Donald ( Joyce ) Duke. Two grandchildren, Lesley ( Bob) Atanasovski and Donald (Kristie) Duke Jr. along with great grandchildren Alex, Stefan, Ashley and Alicia also survive. Three brothers and one sister survive her in Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010, from 2pm - 8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am from the funeral home. She will be buried beside her husband in Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.
