Emili, age 32 of Plymouth and formerly of Thessaloniki Greece moved to the State of Michigan 13 years ago for medical treatments. Emili passed away on July 4, 2022. She was born December 21, 1989. Although being diagnosed when she was 19 years old, only those close to her knew that she was going through a healing journey, because of the way she decided to live her life. Regardless of what she was going through, Emili always defined her life and never let the obstacles stop her. Instead, she always saw opportunities to achieve what she wanted and fought for the things she believed to be true.
Emili attended Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan and received an Associates in Business Administration. She was then accepted by the University of Michigan Taubman College and received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Development on winter of 2021. She had an impeccable eye for (interior) design and was a gifted painter. Emili loved to travel and loved to drive to places with friends, once leading her friends to a cross country journey. She loved children and dreamed of having her own one day. She enjoyed going out to eat in the company of friends and watching Greek TV series and movies. Her favorite things to collect were rings and shoes.
Emili lived with her sister, and they were inseparable. She was close to her family, mom and dad, aunt and uncle, grandparents, and cousins. She always lit up the room and made every conversation interesting with her passion about life and the things she loved. Emili was opiniated and stood her ground. She was caring and a loving person. Emili enjoyed helping others. She was the one to make things happen, and she made others believe that they can too. Emili made life beautiful.
Emili brought tears to all those hearing about her passing, and she will be missed dearly!
