Ellen Louise Hall

Ellen Louise Hall, age 86 of Plymouth passed away on March 30, 2024.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1937 to her parents, the late Marguerite Ellen (née Boyd) and Herbert Thomas Fletcher.

She is the loving and devoted mother of Sandra (Jeff) Ballard; proud grandmother of Heather (Anthony) Reakoff, Jeff (Lauren) Ballard, Jr. and great-grandmother of Charlie Ballard, Olivia Ballard, Naomi Reakoff, and Ezekiel Reakoff.  She will be greatly missed by her dear friend, Jill Young. She was deeply loved by her family and friends.

Ellen lived in Plymouth for most of her life.  In her early years, she was a competitive roller skater.  She began competing in the 1950s until the late 1980s.   When she wasn’t competing, it was just great fun to lace up her skates, and spend time with friends and family.

She loved many trips to Florida with her friend, Al. And looked forward to  her weekly shopping trips with her friend Jill. She enjoyed her visits from Jill and her dog. Ellen was an animal lover and she especially loved Siamese cats.  She had many over the years and enjoyed their love and companionship. 

Ellen was fun and social. She always looked forward to any opportunities to spend time with family – especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   She would eagerly listen as they would talk with her. She loved taking them out to lunch. She enjoyed watching Red Wing hockey games and  golf. 

She was kind and had a big heart, she is deeply loved  and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Thursday, April 4, 2024 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at Schrader-Howell on Friday, April 5, 2024 beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Ellen will be laid to rest at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
