Elizabeth Lee Schmidt

Passed away in Adrian, Michigan at the Hospice Home of Lenawee on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 72. Elizabeth was born in Butler, Pennsylvania the daughter of Ira P. and Madge ( nee Miller ) Campbell. She married the late Lyle J. Schmidt in 1960. The family lived in various locals including Painsville, Ohio, in Rhode Island, Buffalo, New York, Cincinnati, Ohio and finally here in the Plymouth area. In all the places the family lived, Elizabeth sang in their church choirs. She loved to cook, watch the Cooking Channel to get new ideas, sew and do crossword puzzles. But most of all she was proud of her family and the accomplishments of her children. She is survived by her children Jonna Schmidt and Paul ) Carol ) Schmidt. Her son David preceded her death. Also surviving are her grandchildren Nicholas R. Schmidt and Tony Madley and siblings Kenneth ( Irene ) Campbell, Lois ( George ) Pernicano, Joann ( Alex ) Pavlin, James ( Judith ) Campbell and Pressley ( Anne ) Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her sister Margery Campbell. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 1 pm at Praise Baptist Church, 45000 North Territorial Road, Plymouth with visitation beginning at 12 noon.
