Eileen O'Connor Dunn

Eileen O’Connor Dunn, age 70, passed away on November 16, 2017.

Eileen was born on September 4, 1947 in Port Huron, Michigan the daughter of David and Mary (nee Ryan) O’Connor. She is the beloved wife of 45 years to Robert Dunn, loving and devoted mother of Megan (Chris) Crespi and Erin (Jeff) Falcon and very proud Grandmother of Gabriella, Connor and Ava. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings, Jerry (Marianne) O’Connor, Margaret Joyce, David (Betty) O’Connor and Mary Jo (Gerry) Hepburn. She is pre-deceased by her brother Dennis O’Connor, her sister, Mae Keyworth and her parents.

Eileen and Robert were blessed with two children and 45 years of marriage. She learned in raising her daughters, that all of the meanings of being a mom were endless. But through it all, she knew that being a mother is perhaps the hardest, but most rewarding job a woman will ever experience. After raising their daughters to adulthood, and at the age of 52, Eileen returned to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and received her Masters in Social Work. Throughout her life, all who knew Eileen also knew she was a selfless, loving human. Because of these qualities, her second career in life was that of a very successful Social Worker. It was not just a job, but it was a job that she loved!

Friends may visit on Monday, November 20th at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth on Tuesday, November 21st at 10:30 A.M.

Eileen will be entombed at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia.
