Eileen Beaugrand Born Aug. 11th 1919- Died in Christ Apr. 9th 2013 Eileen made Henry Ford Village in Dearborn her home for the last 4 ½ years, making many new friends and enjoying playing bridge, shopping at the Treasure Mart and being a part of The Red Hat Society. Prior to moving to Dearborn, Eileen’s home was Elk Rapids Mi. as she wanted to be close to her daughter and family that spent most of the summer on Torch Lake. Eileen belonged to several Bridge Clubs in the Traverse City and Elk Lake area. She volunteered at the Elk Rapids library and all of the Harbor Day Events. She loved to golf and was on a golf league in Elk Rapids. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elk Rapids. Prior to moving to Elk Rapids she resided at Allen Terrace in Northville, but her true home was Plymouth Mi. for over 30 years. Eileen and her late husband (Niles) were very active in the Plymouth Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Planning Commission and the Plymouth Culture Center. They were a staple at the Chicken BBQ during the Fall Festival. Eileen believed in shopping in her town and you would always find her supporting local stores and restaurants. Eileen was always a Snappy Gal who loved to dress up and wear jewelry. She educated herself on Antiques and jewelry and was the “go to gal” if you needed an appraisal. Eileen was involved in Estate Sales and would go in and price items to be sold. Eileen had a 10 year career at Standard Federal Bank as a Mortgage Professional. Eileen was a big MSU fan and enjoyed the Detroit Tigers. Eileen’s greatest accomplishments were her 3 girls and entire family. Eileen was the Beloved wife of the late Niles Beaugrand. Dearest mother of Bonnie (Edward) Wagman, Stacie (late Jack) May and Laurie (Tom) Wooderson). Loving Grandmother of Gregory (Jennifer) Wagman, Christopher (Elaine) Wagman, Amy (David) Rohweder, Rebecca Little, Kelli DiPietro, John (Angela) May, Natalie (Patrick) Keane, Emily Wooderson &Thomas Wooderson Jr. 17 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Schrader-Howell funeral home on Fri. Apr. 12th from 1p-9p.
