Edward Raymond Knott

Edward Raymond Michael Knott of Plymouth Michigan died in Canton April 16, 2025 at 1:27pm. Ed was 68 years old. He was born April, 26th 1956. Ed was the son of Goldie and Raymond Knott. He is survived by his sister Renee McCuen and her husband Bob. Ed was predeceased by his beloved sister Maryann and her husband Harry. Also predeceasing Ed was his wife Molly Jewel.

Ed was a free spirit in every sense of the word. He grew up in Plymouth where he was a friend to all and stranger to none. Ed enjoyed nothing better than cruising Edward Hines Drive and swimming at Silver Lake. Ed was a lover of fast cars, loyal friends and a cool beverage. He also was a lover of music and played guitar. He was a master carpenter who understood the value of hard work. Ed shared both his skills and work values with young people he mentored. Ed brought out the best in everyone that knew him. He was quick with a joke, generous and kind. His smile would warm the coldest heart.

Ed’s pals in the Tonquish Creek Gang will never forget their loyal brother. The family is thankful to Toni Long for her unfailing love and support of Ed. His ashes will be scattered in the places he loved best.
