Edward James Brown

Passed away at Westland Convalescent Center on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the age of 57. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio the son of Jams E. and the late Nancy C. ( nee McCollum ) Brown on April 9, 1957. He graduated from John Glenn High Scholl in Westland in 1976 and worked for awhile at Civitan in Westland. In the late 1970's he traveled with his family to Denmark to compete in the Special Olympic Games held there. Ed was also involved in Sunday School teaching at his church Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia. Enjoying sports was a pastime Ed truly enjoyed. He is survived by his father and siblings Phillip and Gary. A Memorial Service will be held at the Newburg United Methodist Church, 36500 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:30 pm with the Reverend Lynn D. Snider officiating.
