Edward Charles Gonzales

Edward Charles Gonzales, age 71 of Plymouth passed away on February 27, 2023.  He was born on June 29, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, the late Edward Gonzales and Barbara (née Craigie) Cote.  Edward is the loving and devoted father of two children, Amanda Gonzales and Christopher (Melissa) Gonzales; proud grandfather of Otavio Gonzales - a precious gift born on his 70th birthday (6/29/21).  He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Barbara Dark and Michelle (Gene) Brown and his niece Danica Dark, and nephews Cote Brown and Gene Brown.

Edward was a proud member of IBEW Local 58 until his retirement.  He found a large circle of friends during his 15 years of retirement in Chiefland, Florida due in part to his incredible wit and sense of humor.

Inspired by his intense love and devotion to his own children, Edward became active in his community by serving as a Guardian Ad Litem through the Florida court system.

Edward’s love of music led him to a brief career as a radio disc jockey in New Mexico.  He was very proud of the fact he never aired the same song more than once in any shift.
