Edward C. Long, age 87 of Northville, passed away on September 25, 2014. Born in Plymouth, Michigan to the late Edward & Alma Long. Beloved father of Patricia (William) Blanchard, Barbara (Brad) Susterka and Michael E. (Barbara) Long. Proud grandfather of Billy Blanchard, Nancy (Chris) Gill, Katy (John) Morris, Amy Susterka, Eric Susterka and Kevin Susterka, Amanda Long, Mallory Long, Michael Long Jr., and Allison Long. Great grandfather of Haley & Hannah Morris, Evelyn, Robert & James Gill. Dear brother of Robert Long. Devoted uncle of Susan Michelle Long. A private family service will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. Mr. Long will be buried at Parkview Memorial in Livonia.
