Edward C. Ingles

Edward C. Ingles passed away at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township on July 2, 2013 at the age of 84. Ed was born in Highland Park, Michigan on May 1, 1929, the son of Edward M. and Enid ( Creighton ) Ingles. He resided in Detroit, the Saginaw area and also in Florida. He served in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953 in Germany. In 1956 he married Joyce and together they shared 35 years of marriage, Joyce passed away in 1991. For over 37 years Ed was employed with ATT and served in cable network operations and outside plant maintence. Reading, playing golf, fishing and " fixing things " were some of Ed's enjoyments. He is survived by his children Thomas ( Marlys ) Ingles, Patrick ( Cindy ) Ingles, Edward ( Lori ) Ingles and Charlotte ( Chris ) Teslak. A son Michael passed away in 2008. Also surviving are his grandchildren Karen, Tim, Mark, John, Matt, David, Patrick, Andrew, Brian, Thomas, Elaine, Paul and Anna along with eight great grandchildren and siblings Ann Abraham, Helen Ingles and James Ingles. A sister, Joan Moran also preceded him in death. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 3 pm until 8 pm. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10am until time of the funeral mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck ) Plymouth. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at St. Andrew Cemetery in Saginaw on Monday at 11 am.
