Dorothy Carlson

Dorothy Carlson of Muskegon, died November 4, 2018. She was 92 years old. Dorothy was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 19, 1926. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Carlson. She is survived by her loving children Frederick (Lori) Carlson Jr., Gilbert (Cyndi) Carlson, and Doreen (Mike) Scovel, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was a wonderful and loving person. She volunteered at the Hackley Hospital twice a week. She also enjoyed handing out samples at Meijer and talking to all the people from the community. Dorothy also was an antique glass collector.

Visitation will be Friday, November 9, from 4-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Michigan 48170. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Frederick at Mona View Cemetery on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
