Doran L. Woodard

Doran Lynn Woodard of Fowlerville, passed away March 27, 2016, at the age of 70. He was born in Ann Arbor to Arthur and Grace Woodard on October 7, 1945. Doran was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Katherine. He is survived by his 3 children: Brian Woodard, Jason (Erica) Woodard, and Michael Woodard, and his 2 granddaughters Jennifer Woodard and Riley Shaw. Doran was also preceded in death by his sister Sharon DeWulf and his brother Ivan Woodard.
Doran loved to be outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile, and take his granddaughters on 4-wheeler rides. Doran was an all-around good person. He was an unselfish family man who would always put others needs before his own. He loved his two granddaughters dearly. Doran also loved his Brittany dogs. He was also a proud lifetime member of the NRA and a member of IBEW Local 17 for 42 years.
The Funeral Service for Doran will be held Friday, April 1, at 2pm, at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, 48170. Visitation will also be Friday from Noon until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Salvation Army.
