Dora C. Taylor

Dora C. Taylor, age 95 of Northville, passed away on February 15, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Detroit to her parents, the late Celeste (née Vigano) and Louis Canova.

Dora is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Gabriel Soma and the late Marshall Taylor; loving mother of seven children – Philip (Takako) Soma, Mary Dreis, Gabrielle (Gary) Crossman, Anthony (Patricia Holland) Soma, Louis (Susan Fancy) Soma and Celeste (George Falconer) Soma; proud grandmother of 25 and great-grandmother of 51. She is pre-deceased by her daughter, Pauline Soma.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Visitation will continue on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 A.M. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth.

For those who are unable to attend, the funeral service will be live streamed.




Dora will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
