Age 90, of Plymouth, passed away on April 16, 2011. Born in Detroit to parents Charles and Anna Wisman on Novemebr 9, 1920. Proudly served in the United States Army during WWII, it was during this time he would marry his beautiful bride Esther Schmittling on May 30, 1944. Loving father of George (Dotty) and proud grandfather of Mikhail. Dear brother of Ruth Ann Charlton. One of his passions in life was learing everyting he could about the Civil War.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, from St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Ave, Plymouth. Visitation will begin at 10am followed by a services at 10:30am with Pastor Paul Schaefer officiating. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth on Monday from 4-9pm. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
