Dimple L. Rikard

Passed away on April 15, 2015 at St. Jude Nursing Home in Livonia at the age of 76. Dimple was born in Chasworth, Georgia on December 1, 1938 the daughter of Walter and Fannie Mae ( Southerland ) Hester. She resided in Georgia until the age of 18 when the family moved to Plymouth. For over 20 years, along with her sister Dorothy Conn, she operated D & D Hair Fashion in Plymouth. Dimple enjoyed cars, especially Corvettes. She is survived by her children Tammy ( Scott ) Conner and Stacy Rikard. Three grandchildren and siblings Dorothy Conn, C. J. Hester and Harold ( Marilyn ) Hester. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 pm until 9 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 pm with Reverend Drex Morton officiating. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
