Delight McAllister

Eleanor Delight McAllister passed away peacefully on September 16, 2015 at the age of 98. Eleanor was born January 31, 1917 in Colchester South, Ontario to her parents Alex and Flossie ( nee Knight ) Taylor. She is the dearest mother of Del McAllister, Pamela (David) Cook, and Joy (Francis) McAllister. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Matthew, Tyler, and Casey Cook and Lisa McAllister. She also had 6 great-grandchildren: Noah, Payton, Harper, Ella, Jude and Wren. Eleanor was a long time member of the Women’s Club and also worked at the National Bank of Detroit here in Plymouth. She was an avid bowler and golfer. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but her true love was to garden. People would come from all over to see her gardens that were commonly receiving beautification awards.
