David John Schmidt

Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the age of 38. David was born in East Greenich, Rhode Island on May 19, 1972 the son of Lyle and Elizabeth Schmidt. The family has resided in the Plymouth area since 1978 and David was a graduate from Plymouth-Canton High School in 1990. Some of his interest included a love of reading and photography and he was a loyal fan of the Tigers. He had worked as a chef in the catering business. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth, his father Lyle passed away in 1989. His siblings Jonna Schmidt and Paul (Carol) Schmidt also survive along with nephews Nicolas R Schmidt and Tony Madley.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday from 2pm until time of the funeral service at 2:30pm with Pastor Jeff Noble, of Praise Baptist Church of Plymouth, officating. Interment will follow later at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
