David Flora died on February 26, 2017 at his home in Canton, Michigan. David was born May 6, 1954 in Roanoke, IN. He graduated from Huntington North High School and received his bachelors degree in business from IPFW. He worked for the Foamex Corporation for 25 years and worked a short time for Woodbridge International.
Dave is now resting peacefully and while he may no longer physically be with us, his spirit will continue to fill our hearts. His lasting legacy rests in the minds and souls of his children and grandchildren. Dave reminded us that we all are created to love and inspire and of course to cheer for Notre Dame and go fishing whenever possible. This year Dave fought cancer day and night but always put his family above himself. His lasting impression will be with each person he touched throughout his life. We will physically miss him, his voice, his smile, his strong handshake, his hugs, and his kisses. A life is not measured in years. It is measured by the impact that life has had on others. May Dave rest in peace. We love you. Go Irish!
