Daniel Whitehead

Daniel Whitehead, age 56 of Canton, passed away on March 15, 2019. Beloved husband of 31 years to Lisa. Loving father of Matthew Whitehead and Sarah Whitehead. Precious son of Norman (Henriette) Whitehead and Betty Carb. Dear brother of Patti Whitehead. Also survived by his mother-in-law Sharon Gardner and by sister-in-law’s Cheri (Pete) Dwyer, Judy (Bart) Dolley and Julie (Chip) Stark and by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by step father Jerry Carb and by father-in-law Wayne Gardner.

Dan was born in Michigan, and lived in both Michigan and California in his youth. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Operations Research and Information Systems. He held a variety of positions over the years, and most recently worked as a customer success manager for Oracle, a technology company. He loved his family, friends, and pets. Dan enjoyed family vacations, sports, and riding his motorcycle. He had a very kind heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a deep faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


Visitation Monday, March 18th from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. Funeral service Tuesday, March 19th at 10:30am at St. Michael Lutheran Church 7000 North Sheldon Rd, Canton with visitation beginning at 10:00am until time of service. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
