Dana Lynn Pedersen

Dana Lynn Pedersen of Canton, passed away at the age of 48 on May 28, 2017 after her battle with breast cancer. She was born in Detroit to Otto and Leslie (nee Duncan) Pedersen. Dana is survived by her loving husband Peter Vicari, beloved children Alec and Austin Hocking, loving parents Otto and Leslie, brother Mark (Carol) Pedersen, niece Christine and nephew Halden Pedersen.

Dana enjoyed a rewarding career as a home health care physical therapist for 20+ years where she touched thousands of lives. When she wasn’t working, Dana loved to knit and crochet, she was an avid soccer player in her youth and loved to coach youth boys soccer. She enjoyed going to their cottage in East Tawas to swim and spend time with family and friends. Dana was also a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth. Dana is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by many.

A Memorial Gathering will take place Friday, June 2nd, from 11-12:45pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI. After the Memorial Gathering, family and friends will be invited to make their way to the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, 701 Church St., for a Memorial Service beginning at 1pm with a lunch gathering immediately following.
