Curtis Edward Cilia, age 68 of Plymouth, passed away on May 6, 2022. Born in Detroit on November 24, 1953 to the late Paul & Marie Cilia. Survived by his two loving daughters; Lauren (Alex) Christenson and Michelle (Nicholas Headley) Rambaud. Proud grandfather of Julian, Claire, Cameron and Madelyn. Dear brother of Gregory (Sharon) Cilia, Cheryl (Herman) Kozub, Sue (Roger) Smith, Lu (Richard) Luch and Cathy (David) Thomas. Also survived by his former spouse Laurie (Michael) Caswell and by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his longtime companion Kathy Sprengel.
Curtis loved spending time with family, laughing, and always wore a smile upon his face. He was a loving and caring person whose presence would light up any room he was in and made anyone he spoke to feel special. He worked for Ford Motor Company for his entire professional career following medical retirement due to his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. His outlook was always positive. His memory will live on with all who had the fortune to know him.
Memorial service will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Saturday, May 21st at 6:00pm. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm until time of service.
