Colleen Olesky of Canton, passed away August 16, 2016, at the age of 69. She was born on December 31, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles and Virginia (Moretti) Frost. Colleen is survived by her beloved husband William Olesky, her 3 loving children Meggin (Steve) Kovich, Bo (Dawn) Olesky, and Amanda (Phil) Doumanian, her 3 precious grandchildren Anabelle, Lily, and Charlie, her 4 siblings Doreen Frost (Bill) Tinkey, Kathleen (Ron) Tyranski, Eileen (Bruce) Belknap, and John Frost (Jefferson), as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Colleen was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Colleen’s whole life was dedicated to her family which she loved above all else. They made her very proud. She was a very likeable woman which made everyone else enjoy talking to her. Colleen enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, music, walking, and word puzzles. When she could, she loved to travel especially to the water. The beach, the ocean, you name it, she loved going to the water. Colleen was also a member of St. Thomas A’Becket for many years.
Visitation will be Friday, August 19, from 3-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. There will be a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canton Township for Commemorative Bench.
