Cody L. Beaver

November 11, 1990 — February 9, 2016

Cody L. Beaver died at the age 25. He was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Cody is survived by his mother and step-father Michelle (Bob) Bend, his father and step-mother Gary (Mary) Beaver. He is also survived by his sister Meghann (Robert) Stoliker, his only nephew Robert Jr. and his four grandparents: Marvin (Mary) Hill and Jack (Dolores) Beaver. Cody has many members of an extended family all over the world. Cody was a simple person. He really did not care about creature comforts. He loved sports, the Pistons and Steelers were his passion. His recreation was skate boarding, I think he was never happier than when he was being chased for illegal skate boarding.
He certainly had his demons and these eventually claimed his life at a young age. But Cody was a nice person who rarely spoke badly of anyone. He marched and died to his own drum.Cody's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 20, at 12:30pm at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N. Haggerty, Plymouth, 48170. Cody will be in state Saturday at church at 12 noon. Visitation will be Friday, February 19, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rise Recovery Community, 217 N. Sycamore, Lansing, Michigan 48933.
