Charlotte E. McCown

Passed away at her home on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the age of 98. Charlotte was born in Kentucky on February 10, 1914. She resided in Kentucky until the early 1940's when the family moved to the Detroit area. She meet and married Terry McCown in Kentucky on August 26, 1935 and together they shared 51 years of married life. Terry passed away in 1987. For years Charlotte sold Avon products but her true joy and which made her truly happy was her family. She is survived by her son Bob McCown and daughter Donna ( Ken ) Thompson. Her daughter Karen Wilson preceded her in death. She is alos survived by her grandchildren, Gordie, Lori, Kristy, Ali and J.T., two great grandchildren and siblings Claudia Anderson and L. T. Davis. She also leaves son-in-law Tim Wilson. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Sunday from 12 noon until 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11am with Deacon Dennis J. Kreil of Messiah Lutheran Church of Midland, Michigan offiiciating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.
