Charles Woodard, Jr.

Charles Woodard, Jr., born on June 2, 1937, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, in Superior Township. He was a cherished member of his community, known for his dedication and commitment throughout his career, particularly during his many years of service at Plymouth Stamping.

Charles was a man of great character, whose life reflected hard work and perseverance. Those who knew him will remember him for his kindness and the warmth he brought to every interaction. He was devoted to his family, and his legacy continues through those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his loving brother, Vern (Eula) Woodard and sisters Beula and Shirley.  as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Charles was preceded in death by his late wife, Jearldine, whose memory he cherished deeply.

Visitation will be held at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, located at 280 S. Main St, on December 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on December 21, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM.  On Monday, December 23, 2024, Charles will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, at 1:00 PM.

Charles Woodard, Jr. will be remembered for his generous spirit and unwavering support for his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and commitment that will not be forgotten.
