Charles N. Otto

Charles Otto, 80, passed away at Crystal Creek Assisted Living in Canton on Friday, July 8th, 2016. Charles was born in Detroit, the son of Edward and Anne (nee Faber) Otto, on February 21, 1936. On August 31, 1963, he married his beloved wife, the late Rose Marie Otto. Charles was devoted to his church and his faith. He sang in the choir and helped out in any way he could at church.

Charles is survived by his children, Edward, Matthew (Colleen) Otto and Jennifer (Glen) Nuss. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Truth, Freedom, Noah and Tessa.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday, July 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, July 12th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, (at Beck Road), Plymouth.

Later, he will be laid to rest beside his wife in Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.

The family suggests contributions be made in memory of Charles N. Otto to Great Lakes Hospice.
