Charles John Hornick

Charles John "Chuck" Hornick, age 75 of Canton passed away on May 5, 2024.   

He was born in Houghton, Michigan on August 9, 1948 to his parents, the late Anna (née Butkovich) and A. Charles Hornick. He graduated from Houghton High School and Michigan Technological University. The moments Charles enjoyed most were spending time with his grandchildren, especially watching them play sports and dance. He also cherished his lunches and adventures with his close friends. At home he took pleasure in crosswords, watching Jeopardy! and University of Michigan sports, and curating his coffee mug and model train collections. 

Charles is the loving and devoted father of two children – Kristopher (Faye) Hornick and Kurtis (Jill) Hornick and proud grandfather of Robby, Riley, Jack and Lucy.  He is also deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his sister Anne (Duane) Teska and his niece, Allison Teska. 

Preceding him in death are his parents, a sister, Susan Hornick, and a brother in infancy.

A private family service will be held.
