Charles H. Stevenson, age 80, of Pinckney, passed away on July 24, 2011. Loving husband of 53 years to the late Geraldine. Beloved father of Pamela Stevenson, Kimberly (Marc Kearsing) Stevenson, Charles K. Stevenson and Roger (Julie) Stevenson. Proud grandfather of Kasey Cantwell, EJ Robson, Rachel, Rebecca and Colin Stevenson. Dear brother of John (Pat) Stevenson.
Mr. Stevenson founded the Superbowl Bowling Center in Canton, in 1976. In 1990, he built the Budgetel Inn in Grand Rapids. He also was the owner of Charley's Country Bar and Party Store in Westland for over 20 years. One of his greatest passions was being a proud owner of several thoroughbred horses, which he raced all over the country.
Visitation from the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, on Wednesday beginning at 10:00am with a funeral service at 12:00pm. Memorials may be made to Last Chance Rescue, PO Box 1208, Howell, MI 48844.
