Charlene Marie Schlott, age 71 of Plymouth passed away on September 28th, 2017.
Charlene was born on April 3, 1946 the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Hajek. She is the beloved wife of Michael Schlott; devoted mother of Melanie (Richard) Vollbach and Michael (Kristen) Schlott; proud grandmother of Katie, Ben, Mikie and Ryen. She is deeply loved and will be missed by her siblings, Edward (Marge) Hajek and Karen (John) Harvie.
She grew up in Detroit and graduated from Cody High School. On October 28, 1967 at the age of 21, she married Michael Schlott and they moved to Plymouth in 1972. They would have celebrated fifty years of marriage this year. Charlene enjoyed her family and loved going to the family cottage. She enjoyed the beauty of nature and being outdoors. This especially held true as she loved to fish and tend to her garden. Whether she was fishing or gardening, Charlene held a true appreciation for the beauty of the earth. She also was responsible for designing and maintaining the planter at the VFW.
Charlene will always be loved, never forgotten and forever missed by all whose life was touched by her.
