Catherine F. Kelley

Catherine F. Kelley passed away May 15, 2016 at the age of 83. She was born October 4, 1932 in Detroit to Patrick and Susan (Neeson) Martin. Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Melvin in 2004. She is the dear mother of Deborah (Bill) Phillips, Katherine (Gary) Hoeft, Susan Kelley, Michael (Gloria) Kelley and Patrick (Susan) Kelley, dearest grandmother of Kelley (Jason) Browning, Erin (Michael) Giese, Megan (Bryan) Miller, Brianna (Jeremiah) Regan, Kaitlin Hoeft, Jennifer (Andy Jenkins) Bobo, Kirstyn Kelley, Michael Kelley and Sidney Kelley. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her special friend Elaine.Catherine was the longtime Office Manager at the law offices of Rains, Block and Weider in Ypsilanti. She continued to work there until age 78. She was a resident of Canton and Westland area for the past 20 plus years. Catherine loved to knit, crochet, read books and work crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was very good at playing both games as well. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, May 21st, 2:30 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Family and friends may visit beginning at 1pm.
