Carolyn A. Wendland, age 81 of Plymouth passed away on October 31, 2016. Carolyn was born in Springville, New York on January 18, 1935.
She is the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Ronald E. Wendland who passed away on June 29, 2016; dearest mother of her 3 children, Cheryl (Doug) Smith, Steven (Diane) Wendland, and Colleen (Jon) Baumann. Proud grandmother of Rebecca (Philip) Westgate, Philip Wendland, Renee Wendland, Matthew Smith, Josiah Baumann, and Olivia Baumann and, great-grandmother of Aaron Westgate; loving sister of Janice (John) Walters. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mabel (nee Faust) Bond, but is survived by her cherished mother-in-law, Hazel (nee Beyer) Wendland.
Friends may visit Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016, 4pm to 8pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, November 3rd at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth where she will be in state at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan.
