Carole M. Czwerko

Carole Mary (McCaig) Czwerko, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away suddenly, September 5th at St Mary's Hospital in Livonia Michigan.

Carole was born in Detroit Michigan on January 8th, 1941 to parents James and Viola (nee Welling) McCaig. She is the beloved wife of Lawrence Czwerko, loving mother of four children, Marianne (Steven) Topalian, Sharon Iversen, Laura (William) Bowman, and Candace Czwerko. Carole is also the proud grandmother of Ashley and Christina Bowman and Mia and Frankie Topalian. Dearest sister of Gerald and (Sue) McCaig, William and (Roberta)McCaig, (Helen) and the late James McCaig II.

Carole was a very compassionate and proud critical care technician. She cared for many patients as if they were her own family. This carried over into her family life as she unselfishly opened her home to her Aunt Rose Welling, for over 21 years. Then caring for her father as well as Rose, in her home, comforting and attending to all their needs until their passing.

She loved God, cooking, Detroit sports (especially the Tigers), traveling, her faithful canine friend and companion, "Rowdy" but most of all, she loved being with family.

There will be a Memorial Service held Thursday, September 8th, 9:30 am at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, MI 48170.
