Carol Ann Wirth

Carol Ann Wirth, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on May 11, 2024 in Livonia, Michigan at the age of 83 years. She was born on April 16, 1941, in Detroit to her loving parents Donald and June (Jollie) Shipley.

Carol began her career working at American Motors.  She then worked for over 30 years as a payroll manager for an automotive supplier in Plymouth, Michigan.  
 
Carol was known for her vibrant personality and infectious laugh. She enjoyed ceramics,crafting, interior design, floral/plant arrangements and playing bunco with friends.   Carol's favorite places to travel were Beulah, Frankfort, and Glennie, Michigan. She enjoyed word puzzles and took great delight in the beauty of daisies, butterflies, and birds.

Carol will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her daughters Susan Wirth and Shannon (Robert Dahl) Wirth as well as her nieces and nephew. In addition to her parents, Carol is predeceased by her sisters Diane Kovceses and Pamela Shipley.

A Memorial Gathering for Carol will be held beginning at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 20, 2024, followed by a Celebration of Life service  at 7:30 PM in the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan.
