Bryan David Pennington, loving husband, son, brother and friend, passed away September 11th, 2016 at the age of 52.
Bryan was born in Taipei, Taiwan to parents Melvin and Janie (Chen) Pennington.
He is the beloved husband of Laurie (Staples) Pennington, dearest brother of Noel (Kristie) Pennington, loving uncle to Parker and Penelope Pennington,
loving step-father to Adam and Megan Bacigal, dearest son in law to James and Sherry Staples, and brother in law to Aaron Staples, Scott(Jessica) Staples,
beloved nephew and family member to Lillian and Bob Stover, Pia Chen, Donald Chen and many others overseas.
Bryan grew up in Texas graduating from Eisenhower High School, Houston, where he played the trumpet in the marching band, and member of the Science and Chess clubs. He attended University of Houston in Houston, Texas and received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Commerce majoring in Accounting.
He attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and received his Master of Business Administration from Owen School of Management with dual concentration in Operations Management and Management Information Systems.
Bryan's professional career spanned over three decades in purchasing/procurement in the automotive industry at Visteon and Ford Motor Company and also consumer goods at online retailer, Amazon. He achieved certification as a Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and Professional in Supply Chain (C.P.S.M.).
Bryan loved to talk and would engage with anyone who wanted to have a conversation. Bryan's wit, charm, optimism and friendly, giving spirit gained the love and respect of so many. He loved to travel and had many great adventures to Taiwan, Europe, Las Vegas, Hawaii and more. He enjoyed movies and collecting art. He always appreciated a good meal! He embraced and loved life and will be dearly missed.

There will be a memorial gathering on Thursday, September 29th from 3-9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 29th at the Funeral Home beginning at 7:30pm that will be led by The Reverend Father Thomas Belczak.
