Bruce Campbell, passed away on February 16, 2018. He was born May 26, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, to loving parents, Allan & Heloise Campbell. Bruce graduated from Plymouth High School in 1954, where he played football and was in the marching band. Early on, Bruce worked for his uncle at Jersey Belle Dairy in Plymouth, and then went onto a 45 year career with Ford Motor Company. He attended Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan, and is a lifelong season ticket holder to the University of Michigan Football. For the past forty years, Bruce enjoyed refereeing local High School Football games in the fall and umpiring boys baseball & girls softball in the spring.
He is survived by his four loving children, Kristin Jantovsky, Kevin (Teri) Campbell, Heather (Richard) Reis, and Matthew (Haley) Campbell. Proud grandfather of Gregory (fiancée Ashley) Jantovsky, Erik (Jen) Jantovsky, Cassie Bean, Madalyne Jantovsky, Heather (Aaron) LaLonde, Kaitlyn (Dustin) Kelley, Taylor Batson, Kacy Padley, Hannah Reis, Brady Reis, Liam Campbell and Caroline Campbell. Great grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Gordon (Vesta) Campbell and Susan Campbell-Fournel.
Visitation Tuesday from 1:00pm-9:00pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth. Funeral services will be held at funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00am, followed by a committal service at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
