Brigid McCaffery

Brigid McCaffery, born August 4, 1929 in Annie Gap, Ireland to parents Philip & Mary Anne Lennon passed away on January 12, 2019. Brigid’s journey began in 1950 when her parents sent her to the United States to help out a family member in need. She was only to stay for five years but soon after her arrival Brigid met and fell in love with a young man named William McCaffery. On May 30, 1955 they were married and Brigid would start her new life here in the United States. Togther they were blessed with five loving children; Michael (Kim) McCaffery, John McCaffery, Ann McCaffery, William (Theresa) McCaffery and Alan (Rhonda) McCaffery. Proud grandmother of John (Sara Rayburn) McCaffery, Harlan McCaffery, Brendan McCaffery, Andrew McCaffery, Neil McCaffery, Aidan McCaffery, Bridget McCaffery and Riley McCaffery. Great grandmother of Simon. Also survived by her cousin Mary Pat (William) Borland.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church 11441 Hubbard Rd, Livonia with Brigid laying state at 10:00am until time of funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery at the conclusion of mass. Arrangements entrusted to the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, Plymouth.
