Beverly R. McGuire

Beverly Ruth McGuire of South Lyon, died November 11, 2019. She was 79 years old. Beverly was born in Dearborn, to Harry and Rita (nee Rheinschmidt) Gerrity. Beverly is survived by her loving children Anne (Bob) Slobin, Karen (Ken) Kwek, and Brian (Laurie) McGuire, 8 cherished grandchildren: Alec and Alyssa Slobin, Jessi and Spencer Kwek, and Andrew, Aidan, Audrey, and Caleb McGuire, and her dear brother Michael Gerrity. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Joel and Marty Gerrity.

Beverly was a very kind and caring woman. She was an always an optimist with a positive outlook and was known for her wonderful sense of humor. Beverly had an infectious laugh that could cheer anyone up. She loved to crochet and made many hats and blankets for friends and family. More than anything, Beverly loved her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, November 15, at 11am. Family and friends may begin visiting the funeral home at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
