Beverly E. Booker

Beverly E. Booker, age 80 of Plymouth, MI passed away on May 6, 2017. Beverly will be remembered for her dedication to Arts and the Community. She received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 from the National Academy of Needle Arts. Beverly provided artwork for the Whitehouse Christmas Trees, and has artwork on display at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design and at North Carolina State University. She was patron of the Plymouth Arts Council and funded women to attain educational goals at Schoolcraft College. Survived by her daughter, Tara (Dean) Kurtz and son, David (Monica) Booker. Proud grandmother of Michael Booker, Alexander & Noah Kurtz.

Funeral service Wednesday, 1:00pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am until time of service. The Reverend Dr. John Grenfell, III officiating. Entombment Riverside Cemetery.
